Q: How did you first discover Notion, and what drew you to it?

A: When my brother discovered that I was selling templates on Etsy, he introduced me to Notion. It was a game-changer for me! Notion’s expansive features opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me to explore and expand my creative ventures. I’m so grateful to have found Notion and the opportunities it has brought to my journey.

Q: Can you share the story of your first project or workspace in Notion?

A: My first project in Notion was Weekly Planner. It was quite overwhelming because I have zero knowledge of Notion. As I want to present my first project well, I push myself to learn and know how the features in Notion work so that I can create better quality templates. So I went into deep mode of watching tutorials after tutorials by Tom Frank, Red Gregory, and Easlo and I managed to learn a lot from them and got my first sale within a month.

Q: What inspired you to become a creator?

A: I saw the potential of Notion as a powerful tool for organization and productivity and that is something I need in my life to improve my productivity & organization since I’m a mother of 3 trying to turn this side hustle into a small business of my own.

Q: What does a typical day in your life look like?

A: I send and pick my kids up from school and enrichment classes. And then I will work from home during the day and my templates at night once the kids are asleep.

Q: Can you share a template or setup in Notion that you’re particularly proud of?

A: My Notion Travel Planner! I put in a lot of effort in this one because I was actually planning for my upcoming trip with my kids! And since I am using it myself, I know what a traveler will need and want to have in their travel planner. And I have seen many travel planners which are quite basic so I decided to create a comprehensive one.

Q: What type of templates do you create?

A: I create templates for family, personal, and professional dashboards. I provide customization for customers too.

Q: What’s your favorite way to relax or destress?

A: Listening to classical music or taking a nap. And…You may find it surprising that I’m quite a gamer! My favorite games include Dota and Counterstrike. Yes, gaming is not just for the kids!

Q: Can you share a goal or dream that you’re currently pursuing?

A: Currently aiming to create a problem-solving platform so that many people out there can solve their problems using my templates.
