Q: How did you first discover Notion, and what drew you to it?

A: I’ve been familiar with management software before, I used to use Trello. Then I discovered Notion because I am trying to find a better software to manage my business.

Q: What inspired you to become a creator?

A: I try to challenge myself by being a Notion creator, entering this industry is challenging because I never created Digital Products before, and I have to learn new skills like design, product dev, etc. So, it’s fun.

Q: What does a typical day in your life look like?

A: I spent most of my daily life at my office, working, sleeping, brainstorming, etc. But sometimes I work at a cafe to refresh my mind. Also, I like to spend time alone, reading, working out and even traveling.

Q: Can you walk us through your creative process when designing a new Notion template?

A: I start with my market analysis, and then I use the data as a baseline to develop product ideas. I validate this by having one-on-one interview with my prospective customer. Then I let my imagination go out to create a Notion template which solves a customer’s pain point.

Q: Your templates, so far, are oriented to graphic designers. How do your templates facilitate graphic design and what makes them a must-have for graphic designers?

A: Yes, It’s a template for my first target market. Mostly, I found dashboard templates that were created for general freelancers. I found the opportunity by making it personal. Because I found some problems that should be adjusted for their needs. I didn’t reinvent the wheels, just realigned with my customers’ value proposition.

Q: Can you give us a sneak peek into any upcoming templates or areas you’re exploring for future creations?

A: I have a roadmap for my product in 3 categories; Solopreneur, Entrepreneur, & Investors. So, I will create a template to solve problems in that area.

Q: What advice would you give to aspiring Notion template creators or to those looking to build a brand in the digital product space?

A: Hmm, don’t do it just for money, but focus on value. Try to find the purpose first on why you’re gonna do this, so you can preserve when things get tough. I got inspired by Tony Hsieh, founder of Zappos. He said to chase the vision not the money, cause money will end up following you.

Q: What’s your favorite way to relax or destress?

A: I have a weird habit, I wake up around 2 or 3 PM at night, and spend my time having self-reflection. That solitude moment helped me relax and understand life more better.

Q: Can you share a goal or dream that you’re currently pursuing?

A: Hmm.. I don’t pursue anything actually, but I like to enjoy every process and be grateful for what I have so far. But, if it’s okay to have a dream, being a philanthropist and fulfilling those who need my help would be enough for me.
