Q: How did you first discover Notion, and what drew you to it?

A: Actually, this was a very unexpected but fortunate moment. My discovery of Notion was after I joined one cybersecurity solutions company as a talent acquisition partner. At that time, my team was using Notion to share various guidelines and procedures with colleagues company-wide.

Notion caught my attention as a very versatile tool that goes beyond storing and sharing information. I realized that I could use it for my daily life, both personally and professionally. I dived into Notion’s functionalities and possibilities, which it can provide. Step by step, very naturally, Notion became my all-in-one tool for managing my life.

Q: What inspired you to become a creator?

A: To be honest, the understanding that the skill I acquired and belief in its potential can turn into a business that helps people deal with their problems and, at the same time, brings me financial freedom. I wanted both. Everything started with the belief that it’s possible.

Q: Can you walk us through the process of creating one of your templates?

A: The most interesting process so far was creating my Ultimate Life Planner. The process was long and very carefully thought through.

It all started with my desire to manage various areas of my life in one template, which saves time and increases productivity. I started collecting ideas, drawing a blueprint, and searching for the most convenient layout. I updated and refined the template many times until it was very convenient to use it myself. Then I knew it was ready to see the light of day.

Q: What does a typical day in your life look like?

A: You know, it’s funny that it doesn’t feel like I have a typical day because every day brings me some kind of surprise 🙂

Even though I use time blocking and plan the whole week in advance, I always leave space for flexibility. I very much pay attention to how I feel emotionally and physically on that day and act according to it. After all, our well-being is what matters most, not a to-do list.

Q: What has been your most successful product to date, and why do you think it resonated with your audience?

A: It’s Project Tracker. I believe the reason it’s the most popular template is our fast-paced way of living in a world with endless possibilities. We have so many plans and desires, but we often don’t find the perfect tool to manage them. I guess many people are overwhelmed and want to make their lives at least a little bit easier.

Q: What advice would you give to someone looking to improve their productivity and organization using Notion?

A: Keep exploring the possibilities that Notion provides. Sometimes you’re stuck and you don’t think you can realize your ideas using Notion. But it’s not true 🙂 You can set up a Notion template in a way it’s convenient and beneficial for your specific needs. If you don’t want to bother setting it up by yourself, go for the ready-to-use templates.

Q: How do you maintain a balance between running a successful online business and your personal life?

A: I simply make a plan and stick with it. In my daily schedule, I have a solid part of the day dedicated to my family and myself. That’s it. If I have a ‘workout’ today, I will do the workout. If it says ‘dinner with family’, it’s dinner time 🙂 Don’t overcomplicate it; just commit to your plan and do it.

Q: What’s your favorite way to relax or destress?

A: Oh, it’s working out.

And most importantly, being in the moment during the process. Nothing is better than diving deep into your current physical being and leaving all the other thoughts behind. It recharges me every time.

Q: What’s next for NotionCrowd? Are there any upcoming templates you can reveal?

A: It’s so exciting just to think about answering this question 🙂 The next step for NotionCrowd is opening more social media channels and spreading the message even wider. More and more people will experience the power of Notion. It’s the most inspiring aspect of being a Notion creator.

And, sure, I have the next template in mind. It will be a Notion system dedicated to finance management. I want to give people a ready-to-use system that lays a solid foundation for controlling their money flows.
